Jordan Brand is drawing from its own special projects as the latest retro is an ode to a legend in sneakers and basketball. Mike Bibby, a member of Jordan Brand, is known for his point guard abilities and especially for his prolific Player Exclusives, primarily during his Sacramento Kings days. From Air Jordan 5s to Air Jordan 8s and even Air Jordan 12s, Bibby was the guy with the regal purple, black, and gold mashups. Though Bibby’s Pes were low-tops, the upcoming Air Jordan 2 “Field Purple” nearly puts you in Bibby’s shoes. A black and purple upper with gold details take it back to the 90s as the latest AJ12 keeps it classic with OG color blocking.
