A decade later and the LeBron 8 makes its return as Nike Basketball continues to celebrate LeBron James and his undeniable legacy both on the hardwood and with his signature line. Coming off the momentum of a championship run, the Nike LeBron 8 "Lakers" is both an homage to the LeBron 8 while simultaneously focusing on the present as the Los Angeles Lakers look to repeat. The LeBron 8 is dressed in the signature purple and gold. The Lakers purple is found primarily on the upper as the iconic gold lands on the Swoosh, lace structure, and the basketball-specific 360-degree Air Max outsole. A white midsole and white laces also accompany the pair. The LeBron 8 resurgence starts off with the "Lakers" colorway ahead of the 2020-2021 NBA season.
